What is All-on-X Implant Rehabilitation?
All-on-X Implant Rehabilitation (also known as All-on-implants, All-on-4s, All-on-6s, or Full Arch Implants) procedure is designed for people who have lost most or all of their teeth in one or both jaws and are looking for a long term solution to get a full set of teeth again.
The Full Arch Implant procedure involves placing a series of implants (usually 4-6) in the jawbone. These implants act as anchors for a full set of natural looking ceramic teeth that look beautiful and function like natural teeth.
Treatment Sequence
When suitable, we are able to perform extraction of the remaining unsavable teeth (if needed) and implant surgery on the same day. Placement of a fixed temporary restoration can be done typically within 1-2 weeks. You do not have to put up with uncomfortable dentures for an extensive period of time while waiting for healing.
1/ Record-taking and Planning
During your consultation appointment, we will take a full set of photographs, a 3-D scanning of your current teeth, as well as a 3D dental X-ray known as CBCT. This enables us to precisely plan the suitable positions for your dental implants.
2/ Surgery
Your all-on-X implant surgery typically runs for approximately 3 hours. During the surgery, extraction of your current remaining teeth (if needed) and placement of dental implants are done together. Another 3-D Scan is taken immediately after the surgery for fabrication of Temporary teeth.
3/ Temporary Fixed to Implants
Typically we can install temproary teeth on the newly placed implants 3-7 days after your surgery.
4/ Permanent Teeth Delivery
Your permanent teeth will be made from full ceramic material supported by a rigid Titanium framework underneath.
