Born in Fujian, Dr. Chang immigrated to Australia with his parents at the age of 14, making Sydney his second home. Within just five years, Dr. Hong grew from an international student with limited English proficiency into the top student at Killara High School, achieving an outstanding ATAR score of 99.90. He was admitted into the University of Melbourne Dental School with full scholarship, where he graduated with first-class honors after five years of rigorous study.

Upon completing internships at both public and private hospitals in Melbourne, Dr. Hong returned to Sydney and established Experteeth Dental. Starting with a single-chair clinic in Chatswood, in just seven years, Experteeth Dental has expanded into Australia’s largest private dental chain, encompassing 34 clinics with locations spreading across all of Australia’s Eastern States, and an integrated dental supply chain including dental supplies, consumables, equipment, dental laboratory and academy.

Academically, Dr. Chang has pursued extensive postgraduate education, including advanced courses in dental implantology and aesthetic rehabilitations. He earned a Master of Science in Oral Implantology from Goethe University Frankfurt, and is currently serving as a clinical tutor in the same Master’s program. Dr. Hong also passed the Diplomate Examination of the American Board of Oral Implantology, making him Australia’s fourth dentist to be certified by the American Board. Dr Hong is also involved in a number of other prestigious international dental organisations.
